The Kansas City Chiefs retired linebacker Derrick Thomas' number from the Hall of Fame.During halftime of the Chiefs' game , this nine-time Pro Bowler's No. 58 was retired at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday.
As a franchise leader, he contributed 126 1/2 sacks, including an NFL-record seven in one game.He passed away from injures suffered in a car crash in 2000, short after his 11th NFL season.Accompanied by coach Marty Schottenheimer and several former teammates,the Thomas family see Thomas become the 10th Chiefs player to have his number retired.One of Thomas' daughter cried when left the field.Because it's really a goodbye ceremony.

Chiefs and Johnson get an agreement with each other
The Kansas City Chiefs shows their kindness to Johnson that change the two weeks suspension into one week,but he couldn't join the team untill Nov. 9.The suspension was just a warning to the other players in the team.
“I’ve been given no indication other than that,” Schaffer said. “There have been no discussions about that.”Peter Schaffer,Johnson’s agent"the agreement was tentatively agreed to;as far as I knew, Johnson would remain with the Chiefs. He needs just 75 yards rushing to become the team leader."
“Larry apologized,” Schaffer said. “He learned from it and hopefully other people learned from it. My hope is that people learn that something positive can come out of this and that there are words that should not be used because they demean people.”
Harmony is the most important thing . Above all, Johnson still wear a chiefs jersey .

Chiefs and Johnson got an aggrement
Earlier reports was confirmed by Larry Johnson's agent that the Kansas City Chiefs only give one-week suspension to Johnson;$300,000 was saved for him.
"We've been working hard at it since Thursday," Schaffer said. "We think we have a positive resolution and we'll be able to move forward in the right direction."
An offical announcement of the settlement will come on Monday.
There are only 75 yards rest, Johnson will become the Chiefs' career leader."He kept saying, `You go to a grievance hearing, they can get adversarial and I don't want to be that way,'" Schaffer said. "He said, `I plan on being a Chief the next Monday, so why would I want to fight with somebody when the next day I will be fighting for them?"
The Chiefs have persisted in keeping silence. They stikk have nothing to say.
Wish this will-be 30-year-old guy will be good with his chiefs jersey.
