Bears have DT Harris again

There are high expectations for Chicago Bears defensive tackle Tommie Harris 's coming back. He will put on his bears jersey and fight the Cleveland Sunday.
He was benched for a sore left knee last Sunday .“They’re supposed to expect, that’s what I got paid for,”Harris signed the contract with $40 million after the 2007 season.“If you give a guy a whole bunch of money to perform or you ran a Fortune 500 company and the guys didn’t produce like he did, what are you supposed to do?”
“I’m confident that it helped him a lot,” Smith said Friday about Harris’ week off and full week of practice. “That was our plan, to put him in position where he could practice all week. He practiced all week. He’s feeling good about the practices he’s had and playing good this week.”The other players in the team expect Harris can be performon well as before.
“He’s getting his body right,” defensive end Adewale Ogunleye(notes) said. “I don’t think he has been 100 percent healthy. But with that said, nobody’s really healthy in this league. So we need him to give him what he can do.”
Hope Harris have a good season.

Redskins TE Cooley is questionable

Washington Redskins tight end Chris Cooley broke his right ankle in Monday night's 27-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.Cooley got the hurt on the first play of the second quarter. He limped to the sideline and even couldn't walk by himself, then carted off to the locker room.
Cooley was hurt on the first play of the second quarter. He limped to the sideline but was later carted off to the locker room. He caught two passes for 21 yards before leaving.
Redskins may goes to nuts now. They are having hits on the offensive side of the football continuely.Because starting linemen Chris Samuels and Randy Thomas have already missed the season.Washington (2-5) has failed to score more than 17 points in any game this season.
Cooley went to the Pro Bowl after each of the last two seasons and has never missed a game since entering the NFL in 2004.
"Losing Chris is big," Campbell said.
The good news is that he might be back in 4 weeks after the surgery,But Zorn also said Cooley was awaiting a “final evaluation” from another doctor to make sure.

Dolphins CB Allen say goodbye to season

Miami Dolphins have to go with two rookie cornerbacks beginning Sunday against the New York Jets because of Will Allen’s season-ending knee injury.coach Tony Sparano said Monday that Allen hurt the anterior ligament in his left knee in the Dolphins’ loss to New Orleans. A surgery will be needed.
“They need to mature really fast,” Sparano said. “I don’t know if they’re equipped for 10 games in a row of doing full-time duty without having Will Allen out there. But these guys are playing at pretty good levels.” Sparano now is pay attention to find the most suitable guy or guys to replace Allen's position. 2009 first-round draft pick Vontae Davis and Second-round pick Sean Smith are waiting on the line. The coach himself are not sure about the rookies performance, but what can Sparano do now?The loss of Allen depletes a secondary already under strain. Miami (2-4) has allowed 73 points in the past two games, with pass defense a big part of the problem. The Dolphins rank last in the NFL in yards allowed per completion.
Davis has seen significant playing time as a reserve and on special teams. He played 28 snaps Sunday against the Saints.Smith starts his job in training camp. They both have been projected as the team’s cornerback combo of the future.
Wish Allen recover well.

Benson was commonly stuck going nowhere while with the Bears

Benson’s tumultuous and disappointing three-season stint with the Bears.May Urlacher wish he could

smack his former teammate into submission.“The dude is playing his ass off, and it doesn’t bother

me. I didn’t have a problem with Cedric; he just didn’t fit here, I guess. But we’ve got Matt

Forte(notes) now. It worked out good for him, and it worked out good for us.”Urlacher said

Wednesday.Last august, many fans charged that the Bears had tried to blackball him .It's really a

lie.
